Spring Semester Family Challenge
The Alzar School campus is growing! Thanks to our alumni, their families, foundations and local businesses we have raised $2.4 million of projected construction cost. Because of this generosity, we began construction last summer. With the support of our friends and families, we continue to raise the remaining $1 million needed to complete the Buildout.
To help finish the Campus Buildout, Spring 2017 alumni families are challenging themselves to collectively raise $175,000 to fund a new Patagonia Learning Center in the soon-to-be-built Headwaters Building.
The Headwaters Building and Patagonia Learning Center
The Headwaters Building will address many issues on campus. It will include a school store, infirmary, laundry for students, and offices for the admissions, advancement, and administrators (allowing us to get rid of the temporary office trailer). The building will also include a guest suite for visiting instructors and a conference room.
The crowning feature of the building will be the Patagonia Learning Center, a large meeting space that will allow our entire community to come together for Whole School Community meetings. This room will also function as a classroom and allow the school to bring in groups for training, seminars, and conferences.
Looking for ways to contribute? Get in touch with us! Email Sean, Kristin or Anita or give us a call. We look forward to generating a legacy for the Spring 2017 semester through the Patagonia Learning Center.
