Mary Margaret Murdock

English Honors

Mary Margaret has lived in Tuscaloosa, AL all of her life and holds Alabama football near to her heart. Her love for the outdoors developed at Camp McDowell, a camp located in rural Alabama in the Bankhead National Forest, where she has worked for the past four summers. She graduated in May from Sewanee: The University of the South with degrees in Natural Resources and Religious Studies. Outside the classroom, she served as a trip leader for the Sewanee Outing Program and participated in hiking, canoeing, and caving trips across the Southeast. Mary Margaret is looking forward to learning alongside an intelligent, passionate, and hilarious group of students while also discerning her call as an educator.  You can reach Mary Margaret at mmurdock@alzarschool.org
