Brooke grew up in the rolling hills of Kentucky hiking and mountain biking with her family at a young age. Camping trips as a child sparked her interest in the outdoors. Brooke graduated from Western Kentucky University with a B.S. in biology and outdoor leadership. She then went on to work and explore the environmental education front as an instructor, kayak cave tour guide, and then coordinator for 6 years, before completing her M.S. in natural resources and certificate of environmental education from the University of Idaho. After graduating, she was Outdoor Education Director at a camp in Texas for a few years before joining Alzar School in 2018. She is an avid outdoors person and loves to share her knowledge and enthusiasm with others through camping, climbing, mountain biking, and photography.
