Daniela Stokes

Community & Experiential Advisor; Digital Storytelling

Daniela was born and raised in the Idaho mountains surrounding Hailey, where it was hard not to grow up skiing, hiking, biking and recreating outdoors. Daniela received a B.A. in Francophone Studies with minors in Exercise Science and Education Studies from St. Lawrence University. After her brief stint in the North Country, she returned to her roots to explore everything Idaho has to offer and fell in love with whitewater rafting. Daniela has spent her last 5+ summers guiding Idaho’s rivers. Prior to Alzar School, she could be found leading outdoor trips for Sun Valley Community School, as well as subbing and spending a semester teaching Elementary School Spanish, teaching skiing, rafting internationally, and working with kids in France. Daniela is a certified Swiftwater Rescue Technician as well as a Wilderness First Responder. You can reach Daniela at dstokes@alzarschool.org or (833) 862-5927 x 710
