History Teaching Fellow
Robert was born and raised in an expatriate family, growing up on 5 different continents before landing in North Carolina as a student at Elon University. Having earned a degree in International Studies and Political Science, Robert spent two years in the Pacific Northwest serving as an AmeriCorps volunteer before moving back overseas to work at an international boarding school in the Czech Republic. Since then, he has been engaged in outdoor education and adventure learning with students from all ages and has earned certifications in wilderness first response, avalanche safety, and Leave No Trace ethics. Rob is an avid skier and backpacker with a love for storytelling in its many forms, and is tremendously excited to be involved as the teaching fellow for World History.
