Ellen Frede

Ellen Frede joined Alzar in 2022, and teaches Honors and AP Physics, Honors Chemistry, and Honors Algebra II.  She graduated with a degree in Neurobiology and Physiology from Purdue University, where she was also a Biochemistry TA.  Ellen is a certified Emergency Medical Technician and Wilderness First Responder (W-EMT) and has led multi-day backcountry trips with Adventure Treks.  Ellen loves backpacking in Hawaiian shirts and introducing Physics concepts through content-aligned songs!
