Welcome Alzar School Parents

This week the Alzar School community invites all current parents and families to join us for Parents’ Weekend. As in semesters past, we provide this time to visit our Idaho campus so that families can reunite with their students and witness first-hand the ways in which Alzar School is building leaders who will make a positive impact on the world.

For some, this is their first time visiting Idaho and the Alzar School campus and despite numerous online videos and webinars, parents often do not know what to expect. Over the next few days, parents have the opportunity to enjoy the crisp, autumn mountain air, peruse the banks of the Payette River that runs along campus’ western edge and tour some of Alzar School’s newly completed facilities.

Along with exploring campus, parents will get a big glimpse into the academics, residential life and technical outdoor skills that are taught at Alzar School. Families are encouraged to enter the world of an Alzar School student as they witness academic presentations, familiarize themselves with yurt living and meet with faculty mentors. We are so excited to welcome our Fall 2018 families to Idaho and thrilled to be able to share the Alzar School with them.
